- ~4Dgifts/toolbox/perfTuning/ChallengeIO README
-
-
- These slides were prepared by engineers within Silicon Graphics primarily
- as a presentation for internal SGI employees. Its purpose is to help
- people find out how to make the best use of our systems and show what can
- be done.
-
- In this presentation, references are made to firmware upgrades that allow
- full video i/o from/to disk. At the time of writing, that firmware was
- not released. It has now been released and been cut into manufacturing.
- Disks in the field prior to this release will not have this new firmware
- and there are currently no plans to retrofit this firmware.
